Chris Brock began playing trumpet in elementary school, and guitar as a teenager. In the 1970’s he performed with the Christian contemporary group Vessel. He began playing mandolin in the 1980’s and performed in churches, and with the group Loose Strings. He performs as a multi-instrumentalist with First Baptist Church, and the group Armonia. He performs with touring musicians, as well as members of the KSO. He plays banjo, bass, guitar, mandolin, trumpet, and ukulele. He is a retired U.S. Army officer and a retired rehabilitation counseling specialist. Chris now wants to teach utilizing his life experiences to add joy and value to peoples’ lives through music.
